A New Chapter at Kilkieran Cottage
We are very pleased to announce that exciting times are ahead at Kilkieran Cottage. Chef and owner Ade Walsh has teamed up with Belgian chef and restaurateur Filip Verheyden and together they will transform Kilkieran Cottage into a French gourmet restaurant, unique in the region.
Filip Verheyden is a chef with decades of Michelin star cooking experience in mainland Europe. He will bring a refined and creative French Mediterranean basis to the kitchen, focussing mainly on elegant fish and seafood dishes complemented with intriguing flavourful sauces. Ade Walsh’s Indonesian heritage will bring subtle and surprising Asian influences to their food.
While they prepare for their new venture and a grand opening later in the year, Ade and Filip are inviting you every Sunday for a French and Indonesian based Sunday Roast cooked by them together. The focus is on straightforward but flavourful and elegant food in a relaxed atmosphere.
